How does Noodle Create Value for Employers?

Noodle’s comparison of the total cost and risk of hundreds of health plans for thousands of different families has revealed the consistent superiority of High Deductible Health Plans (HDHP) combined with Health Savings/Investment Account (HSA). These HDHP/HSA’s reduce both the total cost to the employer, because the total premium for the HDHP is usually hundreds or thousands of dollars less.

For example, Noodle’s recent comparison of health plans for a company’s 161 employees showed that switching from the company’s current plans to the HDHP/HSA would save each employee several hundred dollars and reduce risk to the employees’ families. In addition, for each employee who switches the company will save $465, a potential savings of more than $75,000.
